For the 14th time the Coupe de France des Fromagers will take place in Chassieu just a 30min drive from downtown Lyon.
What the Cheesemonger Invitational is to the US the Coupe de France des Fromagers is to France.
The event is open only to professional and in the end 16 candidates will compete for the titel of “French Champion of 2023”
On their way to victory the candidates are challenged with the following tasks:
– A mystery exam on cheese knowledge
– A blind tasting of 5 cheeses
– A creativity test of assembling a tray
– An oral exam
– A test of dexterity

By the way this event is an offspring of *Shira* the professional trade show for the catering and hotel industry that takes place at the EuroExpo Lyon from January 19^th to January 23^rd.
