As all the years before an exciting competition day will await you to crown the best AOP Saint-Nectaire cheese of the year. The Jury will start the judging in the morning and has to choose from as many as a hundred cheeses that will be judged in 3 categories: farmer, dairy and “challenge affineurs”.
The jury will take into account appearance, crust, texture and of course the probably most important – the taste. The award ceremony will take place in the afternoon and visitors will have plenty of things to look at, taste and pack up for home.
