Every other year the almost 800 year old town of Nieheim organizes the “Deutscher Kaesemarkt”, where about 60 producers from all over Germany as well as mongers from Austria, Italy and France will present their treasures to a curious crowd.
This year the town expects as many as 60.000! visitors who will stroll through the little streets of Nieheim in North Rhine-Westphalia with a cheesy smile on their faces.
Nieheim, by the way, is home to the “german museum of cheese” which, when in town, you should definitely stop by.
