Fiera del Formaggio di Fossa – Sogliano al Rubicone, Italy
This year Fiera del Formaggio di Fossa, the Fossa Cheese Fair goes into its 47th round!
As in previous years the Fair will be held in Sogliano sul Rubicone in Italy´s Forlì-Cesenaprovince on the outer edge of the Emilia-Romagna.
On three Sundays the event that traditionally attracts thousands of visitors will offer food stands with pit cheese as well as other typical products from Italy and the area. And of course it wouldn´t be a festival if there would not also be lots of tastings, wine and performances.

Formaggio in Villa – tra le mura di CITTADELLA, PD
The 11th edition of Formaggio in Villa, hosting the nomination for the Italian Cheese Awards, will take place in Cittadella in the Province of Padua.
100 cheeses in 10 different categories are in the race.
The top 3 of each category will be anounced on monday, April 29th. There will be a last tasting by an external jury and only one cheese can leave as the ultimate winner. The prize-giving will take place in late 2023- we are looking forward to it! open to the public, free entrance, 10€ fee/ for the tasting

Gustav and I often get asked which knives are best to use for cutting different types of cheeses. Gustav’s answer is, obviously, that you don´t need knives at all and just use your fangs—but mine naturally is not quite as simple.
So what is the basic must-have equipment to properly cut our friends without harm to us or them?
