The Sagra del Formaggio in Magasa, Italy might takes place in the beautiful setting of Val Vestino!
Cheese and transhumance are the two main reasons for this fest and there will be plenty to taste and see.

Mostra del Bitto – Morbegno, Italy
Last year more than 25.000 people made the pilgrimage to Morbegno, Lombardy to honor famous *Bitto* cheese for 114th time in history.
The * Mostra del Bitto * showcase event takes place every year and is also a festival in honor of the antique traditions of Valtellina.
There will be a horse and rider show, and you can participate in workshops , visit the so called “CALÈCC” or take part in a tasting.
Calèccs are the ancient stone constructions, which are covered with a mobile, tent like roof and can only be found in the Bitto valleys. They are scattered over the pastures and make the on-sight production of *Bitto* possible.
Stay alert: For some entrances and tastings you have to reserve in advance.
