Get ready for the 1st *Le Vie dei Casari* (The life of cheesemakers), which takes place on the 2nd weekend of May in the 18th century Villa Mezzabarba in Borgarello, Italy!
Just a stone throw from Pavia and its must-see Certosa, the event aims to tell the story of small alpine dairies for which animal welfare and healthy pastures are crucial when producing their quality milk and cheese.
It´s a unique opportunity of tasting 70 different cheeses and get to know the makers, as well as the stories and territories behind them.
Naturally the cheeses will be paired with wine, beer and even sake, with all pairings being guided by experienced sommeliers in the respective fields.
Tickets are 25€ (presale) (€30 at the gate) and include all the cheeses and guided tastings as well as one sake tasting.
Wine&Beer tastings have to be paid separately.
Note:
Festival times might change and events might be canceled.
