The * Festival del SILTER D.O.P * goes into its 7th round this year !
+Silter+ is a unique raw cow´s milk cheese of an inimitable taste, that takes its name from the room in the malga that was used for maturing the wheels.
The event starts Friday the 5th of December and will easily carry you through the whole weekend.
- Location: Ponte di Legno, within the province of Brescia, Italy.
- Venue: The main event is usually held in the Sala Polifunzionale (Multipurpose Hall) on Via Salimmo.
- Activities: The festival features exhibitions, tastings of the protected designation of origin (DOP) Silter cheese and other local products, and a “popular jury” competition to award the best Silter of the year.
