Fête du Fromage | Kazenfeest – Harzé, Belgium

Fête du Fromage | Kazenfeest at Harzé Castle in Belgium goes into it´s 45th (!) round.

Also this year Harzé Castle honors it´s visitors with the legendary Kazenfeest.
On two days about 10.000 expected visitors will gather together to try Wallonian cheeses in the beautiful setting of a 17th century castle.

Wallonia has many cheese manufacturers some of which will compete in the competition for Wallonia´s best cheese of the year. The winners will be announced during the festival, with the press and restaurant chefs being the jury.

But don´t worry – for the unlikely case that you don´t like any of the ca. 250 Wallonian cheeses on offer –  there will also be plenty from other countries and areas.
