Fête de la transhumance et de la tourte – Munster, France

The time of the year has come for Transhumance festivities!
This one takes place in Munster, just a 20minute drive from Colmar near the german border.

Every other year the town has a big feast on the return of the Vosges cows down to the valleys.

There will be cheese-making demonstrations, mini-farm, dances and horns of the Alps not to mention the tasting of the pie at the Salle des Fêtes. Besides the market all shops will be open!
