Ok, this might not be a cheese festival, but it´s definitely an event one does not want to miss!
And you know why? It´s Transhumance time again!
For the feast of Saint Urban the cows are brought to their summer pastures on the Aubrac plateau where they will stay until October. Following the old tradition of transhumance that makes cheese as we know it possible the Fête de la transhumance at the Col Bonnecombe is accompanied by numerous activities as well as a market with produce from the area.

From May 21 to 25 in Aubrac and May 24th, 2026 at the Col de Bonnecombe
