In 2008 the cheese festival Brazil won the title of “Cultural Heritage of Brazil” and this for a reason:
On three days Dozens of producers from 11 different regions will present their work to the public. Well-known chefs will offer their special dishes and there will be artisinal beer and wine. Moreover there will be classes on cheese- production and maturation on offer!
This year the Festival do Queijo Artesanal de Minas takes place at Parque de Exposição da Gameleira in Belo Horizonte.
