Alkmaar is famous for its 400 year old cheese market that is buzzling with cheese and also a lot of curious tourists. Edam and Gouda as far as the eye can see – cheese porters in traditional guilds, ancient scales and many more attractions!
The Alkmaar cheese market will be there from the last Friday of March until the last Friday in September!
Starting with Friday, March 27th and ending on Friday, 25th of September – every week from 10 to 13pm
