27th Cheese Festival – Alles Käse Festival, Kötschach-Mauthen, Austria
As the tradition implies, at the end of the summer, on the last weekend in September “Alles Käse” the corinthian cheese festival takes place in Kötschach-Mauthen.
This year the festival celebrates its 27 year anniversary and the area is also a slow food travel region – so one more reason to go!
If you never had a traditionally produced Gailtaler Almkäse you should definitely not miss out on this event.
Gustav says he heard there will also be a cheese queen. Well then…
