Festivals that involve Beans and Cheese are a common thing in Italy last but not least because it´s a killer food combination!
The * Festa della Fava e Pecorino * can be found up at the mouth of the Sibillini mountains about 1.5h South-West of Ancona. Spring gem beans fit perfectly to the pecorini from the area and the festival is a wonderful occasion to get in touch with the area both are born in.
When on a road trip through the Peninsula you can also visit a twin event in Filacciano near Rome the same day!!
