DESCRIPTION:Mercato di Stegona\, Brunica\, Italy\nOk\, to be honest – this *Mercato di Stegona* is not entirely built around cheese\, but when we read about it we thought we  do have to share its existence with you. \n*Mercato di Stegona* is the biggest market of the year in South Tyrol and has a stone-old tradition. \nIn former times people from all over the area came to buy what they would need to get through the upcoming fierce winter and even today you can find almost everything.  More than 300 vendors offer all kinds of goods from tractors to cows and from cheeses to speck and everything else you can imagine to need at some point. \nWe have never been there but *Mercato di Stegona* sounds more than worth the visit. \nNote:\nFestival times might change and events might be canceled.\nAlways check official sites before heading out the door or booking your trip.\nImage Rights: All images used in this event calendar are under copyright of the organizer and or/its maker.
