DESCRIPTION:Finally after a 2 year wait it´s time for the 14th Swiss Cheese Awards!\nIn 2026 around 1000 cheeses split into 33 categories will run for being the Top of the Top of Switzerland!  \nThe first judging involves 200 jurors from all over the world and will take place on October 6th. Here the best cheeses in each category will be decided on.  On October 8th a Super Jury will judge all category winners and select a Swiss Champion in the three categories Extra-Hard/Hard Cheese\, Semi-Hard Cheese and Soft/Fresh Cheese. \nThe biennial Swiss Cheese Awards (SCA) is organized by FROMARTE and also hosts the open to public competition for best cheese board.  \nAlready on the hook? \nThen don´t miss out on the awards night on Friday October 9th where all the winners will be announced and the Swiss Champions will be crowned. \n  \nNote:\nFestival times might change and events might be canceled.\nAlways check official sites before heading out the door or booking your trip.\nImage Rights: All images used in this event calendar are under copyright of the organizer and or/its maker.
