Since Brazil over the past years managed to win international awards for their cheeses, the Brazil´s Cheese World Contest aims to present international cheeses to the Brazilians and introduce South American cheeses to the rest of the world.
This is the second edition and will take place in Brazils food capital São Paulo.
The Mundial do Queijo estimates to receive 1.200 cheese and Dairy Products and about 50 thousand visitors. Along side the Mundial two other contests will take place:
The Best Brazilian Cheesemaker and the Best Brazilian Cheesemonger.
Alongside the competition a cheese, drink and artisan food fair takes place in front of the theater, in Praça da Baleia, with free access with more than 100 producers from all over Brazil will sell their products directly from the farm.
