This year the Mostra dei Formaggi Tipici of Santandrà di Poviegliano in Italys province of Treviso goes into its 39th round.
As the size of the village suggests it´s a small festival that nonetheless has a lot of deliciousness to offer.
For more than a decade it is also accompaigned by the Mostra del Prosciutto Crudo and being just a short drive from Treviso and Congeliano it is definitely worth a pit-stop.
Gustav says he loves little village festivals – less visitors more cheese for him!
