Certamen del Queso Cabrales 2024 – Arenas de Cabrales, Spain

Also this year the Cabrales Cheese Contest, the Certamen de Cabrales will take place in the Asturian town of Arenas de Cabrales in the North of Spain.

Cabrales is a PDO Blue Cheese made with raw sheep, goat and cow´s milk or just pure cow and is known for its unique salty and sharp flavour.

Thousands of people are expected to join this event in the name of Cabrales.

But don´t worry – if you don´t like to go blue , there will be also many other cheeses!

There will be tastings, folklore shows and demonstrations of the traditional cheese-making process and of course you will have plenty of opportunity to fill up your bags.
